Dora High School Closing

The Walker County Board of Education has announced that effective at the end of the school year, Dora High School will close its doors.

All students will be rezoned for Cordova High School. New Cordova Principal Ms. Lotta Mularkey has been announced and will lead CHS to be the crown jewel in the Walker County Schools system.

If you didn’t pick up on Ms. Lotta Mularkey, and that today is April 1st, April Fools Day. Technically, the doors will close at the end of the school year, and reopen at the beginning of the next school year. Go dawgs!

May the gold never tarnish, the blue ne’er grow dim, til the goals of our hopes have been won.
